Description The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent curation and headline-writing skills, the ability to communicate complex ideas simply, a genuine interest in local news, a mind for product development, and a deep understanding of what kinds of news is of interest to our diverse communities across the country. On a day-to-day basis, the candidate will: Select top stories for different cities across the country, with an emphasis on quality, accuracy, and engagement; write sharp and engaging copy with the Apple News audience in mind; and work with our copy and standards team to ensure the work meets all aspects of our house style.
