Job Description

One of Minnesota's most highly respected community weekly newspapers is looking for a new managing editor to help carry on the paper's tradition of high-quality journalism. The Timberjay Newspaper is a financially-stable, regional community weekly located in northeastern Minnesota, with a circulation (print and online) of 3,000 and estimated total readership of approximately 7,500. The Timberjay is known nationally for its news coverage and editorials as well as its hard-hitting investigative reporting. For more, see the feature in the
Columbia Journalism Review:

The ideal individual would bring considerable experience in news writing and editing, pagination (InDesign), and some business management experience to the operation.
