Company Overview:
We are a dynamic and rapidly growing digital media company based in Raleigh, North Carolina dedicated to producing entertaining content for our YouTube channels in addition to our short form social media platforms. We are committed to creativity, innovation and fostering a positive online community. Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented assistant editor to join our team. As a member of our team you will play a crucial role in creating high-quality video content for our YouTube channel. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, have a strong understanding of YouTube Culture and trends, and be excited to jump in on production from time to time. Local to or willing to relocate to Raleigh, NC only. Responsibilities included but not limited to:- Utilizing Adobe Premiere Pro (using Productions):
- Ingest new footage, build projects, organize and create broll and bites sequences
- Sync footage and audio
- Organize footage and audio, cut back selects
- Research and pull sourced footage
- QC for final edit stage
- Prep projects for freelance editors
- Help manage camera and audio equipment
- Manage media cards
- Assist in short form edits, as needed
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Able to work within the often tight turnaround schedules for YouTube.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Editing, Film Production, Digital Media, Communications, or related field would be great but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and other relevant editing software
- Local to Raleigh North Carolina or willing to relocate to the area. (Must work in office M-F)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to self-start while also being able to collaborate effectively within a team.
