Job Description

Job Overview We're looking for a detail-oriented Assistant Editor to support our post-production team during a busy production season. This role is primarily remote, but candidates must be available to work from our Annandale, VA office when needed for archiving, equipment management, and other in-person tasks. This position requires a minimum of 20 hours per week , though hours may increase significantly during peak production periods. Candidates should be flexible and available to work up to 50 hours in a week when project demands require it. Duties Download, organize, and manage incoming footage on our company Dropbox. Pull selects and prepare project files for editors. Assist editors with post-production tasks as assigned. Help archive completed projects and media in our Annandale office. Support marketing/administrative tasks as needed. Track equipment inventory and assist with organizing and selling retired equipment. Perform other production and post-production support tasks as needed. Skills Experience with and access to Adobe Premiere Pro. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage large amounts of digital media and maintain organized file structures. Comfortable working independently in a remote environment. Reliable internet connection and home workstation suitable for remote editing work. Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel to our Annandale, VA office when requested. Availability to work additional hours during busy production periods.
Pay:
$25.00 per hour
