About The Company:

Addison Group is hiring a Content Editor for our client, a well-established organization in the insurance and financial services industry. This opportunity supports a collaborative communications team responsible for developing polished, accurate materials for employees and external clients. The Content Editor will create, edit, and proofread a variety of communications and benefits-related materials. This person will work closely with project managers, benefits professionals, and other internal partners to develop content that is clear, accurate, and aligned with client needs. The ideal candidate is an experienced communications professional who can quickly learn new subject matter and effectively manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft and edit employee communications, client materials, flyers, emails, and other written content. Use established templates and resources while researching information needed to complete projects. Partner with project managers to understand project requirements, gather materials, and resolve questions. Create and update benefits enrollment guides and related employee communications. Adapt written content based on established messaging, tone, and communication guidelines. Collaborate with benefits professionals to confirm plan details, contribution information, and other important data. Thoroughly proofread materials for grammar, accuracy, consistency, and overall presentation. Maintain and organize content within a shared content library. Manage several projects simultaneously while prioritizing deadlines and changing needs. Identify opportunities to improve content-development workflows and processes. Develop a strong understanding of business objectives and incorporate them into communications.

Qualifications:

5+ years of professional internal and external communications experience. Experience writing or editing HR, employee benefits, or workplace-related content. Experience creating content for websites and/or social media highly preferred. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and research abilities. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to quickly learn new concepts and translate complex information into easy-to-understand content. Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet quick turnaround times.
