Job Description

We are actively seeking candidates for an on-site Field Assistant Editor / Redaction Specialist position based at Naval Station Norfolk. We are hoping to connect with candidates who have a strong foundation in video editing and post-production workflows.

Role:
Field Assistant Editor / Redaction Specialist
Location:
On-site at Naval Station Norfolk (Non-remote)
Duration:
2 months guaranteed (with potential extension through principal photography)
Pay:
$1,000 / week
Core Responsibilities:
Serve as an on-site bridge between Navy Redaction officials and our post-production house. Review raw footage on an Adobe Premiere Pro timeline alongside Navy personnel and execute simple redactions (cuts/trims) based on their guidance and orders from post.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Must be a U.S.-born citizen and able to pass a DoD background check for base access (valid REAL ID or Passport required).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
