- Strong interest in apparel design, merchandising, and production
- Participate in research and development of seasonal trends.
- Support preparation and organization of samples, line reviews, and sales meetings
- Create and maintain product development and tech packs for development & production.
- ensuring required specifications, construction details, and supporting documentation are complete and accurate.
- Communicate(s) on a daily basis with cross-functional teams & overseas vendor to assist in workload and deliverables-Coordinate with Design, Production, and overseas vendors to obtain and organize information required to complete development and production
- Maintain product development documentation, photos, CADs, and related files
- Coordinate sample shipments, vendor follow-up, and development tracking
- Assist with hanger photography and product tagging
- Coordinate CAD requests and maintain accurate development information
- Monitor development timelines and communicate potential delays or issues to management
- Participate in line review preparation, prepping and passing standards for handoff meetings.
- Experience tracking items using a work-in-progress (WIP) report to maintain product organization and efficiency
- Support Product Development leadership with development follow-up & production.
- Willing to learn new computer system
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs.
Necessary Skills and Abilities:
- 1-3 years of experience in apparel product development, design support, or a related field.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills (English,Chinese) Basic knowledge of garment construction and materials Understanding of apparel product development processes, tech packs Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office.
