The ideal candidate will have a great sense of style, understands the balance of technical design with business goals.
Deliverables:
  • Develop complete tech packs with detailed specifications, fabrications, and technical drawings
  • Examine and measure proto, fit, and TOP samples to ensure accurate execution of requested measurements, quality, construction, and overall fit
  • Compile information on all garment components: fabric, fit, construction, stitch, and trims
  • Accurately measure garments to identify fit issues
  • Take detailed notes at all fittings and clearly communicate all fit issues and components to vendors for adjustments
  • Execute fit comments in a timely manner to ensure the fit process stays in line with the production time and action calendar.
  • Administrative duties with wash house and keeping track of counters, pp samples, and TOP from vendors.
Skills and Qualifications:
At least 3-5 years experience preferred Must have a high school diploma; Associate or Bachelor's degree in fashion preferred Knowledge of patternmaking a plus Must have pre-production experience Must have a strong understanding of garment construction and fabric types Must have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel and working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator CC, and Photoshop Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be willing to work in a fast-paced fashion environment and meet deadlines
