Job Description
■ General Responsibilities Design Support Assist in seasonal trend research, mood boards, and concept development Create and revise technical sketches (flats) under the direction of the Senior Designer Create and revise original graphics under the direction of the Senior Designer Support colorway, print, and wash/finish development for denim and related categories Maintain and organize design boards, reference libraries, and trend files Tech Packs & Sample Development Build and maintain tech packs, spec sheets, and BOMs (bill of materials) Track sample development through each stage (proto, fit, SMS) and flag delays or issues Assist in fit sessions, taking notes and updating specs based on Senior Designer/technical design feedback Coordinate sample requests and follow-ups with factories/vendors as directed Cross-Functional Support Communicate with sourcing, production, and merchandising teams to keep design timelines on track Help prepare materials for sales meetings, line reviews, and buyer presentations Support the Senior Designer in maintaining the seasonal design calendar Administrative & Systems Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the company's PLM/ERP system (e.g.,A2000 or similar) Organize fabric, trim, and wash swatches/references Uphold confidentiality of designs, tech packs, and product roadmaps per company policy ■ Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in apparel design, ideally in women's denim/bottoms or related category Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (flats, presentation boards) Strong understanding of garment construction and basic pattern/fit principles Highly organized with excellent attention to detail Ability to manage multiple samples/timelines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment ■ Preferred Qualifications Experience with PLM systems and tech pack software Interest or coursework in denim/wash development Bachelor/s degree in Fashion Design or related field
