We are looking for someone who enjoys fashion, sewing, and working with students of different ages and skill levels. Responsibilities Teach sewing and fashion design classes for children, teens, and adults Teach sewing machine operation, fabric selection, pattern reading, cutting, and garment construction Guide students through hands-on sewing and fashion design projects Help students develop their own creative ideas and turn them into finished pieces Prepare demonstrations, materials, and age-appropriate projects Provide clear, patient, and encouraging instruction Maintain a safe, organized, and positive classroom environment Contribute ideas for new classes, workshops, and fashion projects Qualifications Strong sewing and garment construction skills Experience in fashion design, sewing, tailoring, or a related field Comfortable working with children, teens, and adults Patient, responsible, creative, and dependable Teaching experience is preferred, but not required Pattern-making and garment-cutting skills are a plus Fashion design education or professional industry experience is a plus
