We are seeking a world-class Alias NURBS modeler to join our Digital Creation team.

This is a critical role for an individual who combines exceptional surfacing expertise, outstanding design judgment, and industry-leading execution speed.

The successful candidate will transform design vision into high-quality digital models, elevate design intent through superior craftsmanship, and consistently deliver best-in-class results within a fast-paced automotive design environment.

Responsibilities:

Create high-quality digital models using Autodesk Alias, translating design sketches and themes into compelling 3D volumes with exceptional accuracy and efficiency.

Develop production-ready surfaces while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship, precision, and design fidelity.

Partner closely with designers, visualization artists, engineers, and studio leadership to realize and elevate design intent throughout the development process.

Rapidly iterate and refine digital models while balancing quality, timing, and technical feasibility.

Drive modeling excellence by establishing and maintaining best practices in digital surfacing, model quality, and workflow efficiency.

Requirements:

• Alias NURBS Expertise
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Alias with demonstrated expert-level mastery of NURBS modeling.
• Proven ability to create complex, high-quality surfaces with exceptional speed, precision, and consistency.
• Deep understanding of automotive surfacing principles and digital craftsmanship.
• Design Interpretation & Sketch Modeling
• Exceptional capability in rapid sketch modeling and concept development.
• Strong design sensitivity with the ability to interpret 2D sketches and transform design intent into compelling 3D form.
• Demonstrated ability to enhance and elevate design proposals through expert digital modeling.
• Class-A Surfacing Excellence
• Extensive experience creating world-class Class-A surfaces.
• Advanced knowledge of surface continuity, curvature control, highlight management, and production feasibility.
• Strong understanding of parametric modeling methodologies and FEAS workflows.
• Collaboration & Execution
• Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative and fast-paced design environment.
• Strong communication skills and proven success working across multidisciplinary teams.
