Description Act as the Fit Owner/Expert for multiple categories, managing the fit processes and providing fit expertise Exercise influence in fit recommendations and construction. Articulate fit recommendations and corrections with precision and clarity Manage fit scheduling, support model selection and calibration, and ensure alignment on fit actions Track and analyze fit data to assess risks Oversee the Fit Library, post-fit sessions, and review patterns as necessary Advise and coach team members on fit-related matters, elevating issues as required Collaborate with design teams, cross-functional groups, and vendors on fit concerns Manage wear testing, follow-up activities, and timing to ensure product excellence Drive fit evaluation processes and communicate issue resolutions effectively to stakeholders Demonstrate business awareness in areas such as costing, raw materials, and production processes Represent Technical Design in cross-functional and team meetings, contributing insights and expertise Attend and participate in brand meetings, including Design Review, Line Review, and Style Review sessions Lead vendor meetings to facilitate collaboration and ensure alignment Qualifications Technical education in garment fit and construction to degree level or equivalent work experience. Practical experience in patternmaking and garment construction for bulk production. Fifteen years of technical experience gained while working within either the textile industry, or in a retail environment. An understanding and preferably 2-3 years' experience using computer specification package (PLM) Practical experience of applying proven techniques of quality assurance within the clothing industry. Eight to ten years' experience in team and process management.
