Job Description:
Partner closely with merchandiser to create seasonal line plan across fits, silo, washes and price points. Research trends, fabrics, washes and innovations in denim. Create cads, tech packs including BOM and construction details. Ensure consistency across new denim, evolve into new styles and update OPP styles Maintains/organizes physical denim wash library Manages denim washes, details (destruction, distressing, finishes) including lab dips, sample comments/approvals Source/evaluate denim submits Collaborate with product development team with overseas factories regarding costing, denim fabrications, trims, etc Partner with tech design on fittings, specs, product consistency Communicate & troubleshoot technical comments to factories Ensure deadlines for protos, samples for market week Tickets incoming styles, creates library of those samples for review with merchandiser. Support merchandiser in hand-offs through bulk orders.
