Home Textiles / Textile Manufacturing Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and creative Lead Designer - Towels to lead the development of premium towel collections for international markets. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in towel design, textile trends, color development, and international customer requirements. The role will be responsible for taking designs from concept to production while working closely with merchandising, product development, technical, and production teams. Key Responsibilities Lead the creative direction and development of towel collections for international markets. Create innovative towel patterns, borders, jacquards, dobby designs, textures, and colorways . Translate global trends and customer requirements into commercially successful designs. Develop seasonal concepts, mood boards, color palettes, and collection directions. Conduct market and trend research, particularly across the U.S. and international home textile markets . Collaborate with Merchandising, Product Development, Technical, and Production teams. Lead design projects from initial concept through sampling and final production. Ensure designs meet customer expectations, market trends, quality standards, and commercial objectives. Provide creative leadership and contribute to the organization's overall design vision. Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Textile Design, Textile Engineering, Fashion Design , or a related field. Experience & Skills 8-10 years of professional experience in towel design/home textile design. Proven experience developing towel collections for international markets. Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, innovation, and successful towel designs. Experience working with international customers, brands, retailers, or home textile markets will be highly preferred. Strong knowledge of towel construction, jacquard, dobby, patterns, textures, and color development. Strong understanding of global textile and home-furnishing trends. Excellent creative, communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
