Updated 06/2026 Job Description Job Summary Textile Designer develops and programs knit structures for high-performance textile products using STOLL flat knitting technology. The role supports product development through prototype creation, design optimization, and collaboration with engineering and production teams. Requirements Position Details
  • Aerospace Manufacturing
  • 4x10 Shift, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Weekdays
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen Education & Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent, Bachelor's degree encouraged
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in knitwear design or knit programming
  • Hands-on experience with STOLL flat knitting machines
  • Proficient in STOLL M1+ software
  • Strong understanding of yarns and knit structures
  • Demonstrated experience developing and refining knit programs independently
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Portfolio required
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Preferred Skills
  • Experience in performance or technical textiles
  • Familiarity with ADF or rapid prototyping environments
  • Exposure to coated or laminated textile systems Job Duties & Functions
  • Create and program knit structures using STOLL M1+ software
  • Develop prototypes utilizing STOLL flat knitting machines, including CMS series
  • Translate product concepts into functional and manufacturable knit designs
  • Optimize knit structures for fit, durability, and production efficiency
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support development objectives
  • Troubleshoot knit issues related to yarn behavior, tension, and defects
