This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career designer who is passionate about fashion, consumer products, and transforming emerging trends into commercially successful collections. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, actively follows fashion, social media, and e-commerce trends, and enjoys creating products that resonate with today's consumers. You'll work closely with Product Development, Merchandising, and cross-functional teams to develop apparel collections for the U.S. market while gaining hands-on experience throughout the product development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Research and analyze global fashion trends, seasonal color palettes, silhouettes, fabrics, trims, prints, and emerging consumer preferences. Monitor social media platforms, influencers, and e-commerce marketplaces to identify new product opportunities and trend directions. Develop mood boards, trend presentations, color stories, and design concepts aligned with seasonal collections. Create apparel sketches, technical illustrations (CADs), and detailed tech packs for product development. Collaborate with Product Development and Merchandising teams to bring concepts from ideation through production. Conduct competitors and market research to identify whitespace opportunities and product innovation. Participate in product reviews, fittings, and sample evaluations, incorporating feedback into design revisions. Maintain organized design files, specifications, and documentation throughout the development process. Stay informed on emerging technologies, AI-powered design tools, and digital platforms that enhance creativity and productivity. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design, or a related field preferred. Recent graduate or up to 2 years of apparel design experience. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. Strong understanding of garment construction, textiles, fabric properties, and apparel manufacturing. Excellent sketching, illustration, and presentation skills. Passion for fashion, consumer products, and identifying emerging market trends. Active user of social media and e-commerce platforms with an understanding of digital shopping behaviors. Tech-savvy, curious, and eager to adopt new technologies, AI tools, and digital platforms. Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and time management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with CLO 3D, Browzwear, or other 3D apparel design software. Basic understanding of apparel sourcing, product development, and manufacturing workflows. Portfolio showcasing apparel design projects, technical illustrations, and creative thinking. Familiarity with U.S. fashion trends, retail brands, and consumer preferences.
