Textile Designer Job Description A textiles/fabrics company is looking for a designer specializing in prints, patterns, and trendy colors.
What We Are Looking For:
Fully in charge of design processes for products, including but not limited to fabric pattern design, graphic design, design retouching, photography, concept development and production quality control. Create and take pictures/photos for marketing purposes. Photograph our products for the Customers & E-commerce team. Organize the product storage, first shipping samples, and in-house art studio. Conduct research on current design trends and competitive products to inform design decisions. Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to understand customer needs and preferences. Incorporate feedback from team members and clients into design revisions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, major in Design, Textile Design, or related fields preferred. At least 1-2 years of experience working in a design-related position, preferably in home textiles. Proficiency in digital design skills, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design tools. Fluent in designing for
Textiles:
scanning, cleaning, repeats, color work, etc Understanding of color theory and ability to color match effectively. Trend-driven with a keen eye for the fabric industry, always looking to spot the next big thing in textiles. Ability to think creatively, solve problems, and manage multiple ongoing projects. Strong teamwork skills. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel Must be proactive, able to multi-task, detail-oriented, possess strong organizational skills and be dedicated and hardworking
