We are seeking a skilled and experienced Florist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with proven expertise in floral design, strong knowledge of flower care, and a passion for creating exceptional arrangements. You will work in a creative, fast-paced environment, collaborating with a team that values artistry, precision, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and create high-end floral arrangements for weddings, events, holidays, and daily orders. Consult with customers to understand their vision and recommend flowers, plants, and design concepts. Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient workspace, including floral coolers and design stations. Unpack, process, and condition flower shipments to ensure peak freshness and quality. Manage inventory of flowers, supplies, and tools. Assist with on-site event setups and installations. Work extended hours during peak floral holidays (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas).
Qualifications :
Minimum 2 years of professional floral design experience in a retail or event setting. Strong design skills with a portfolio demonstrating versatility and creativity. Excellent knowledge of flower varieties, seasonal availability, and care techniques. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
