Duties Support the floral design team by preparing flowers, cleaning buckets, and creating custom floral displays with precision and creativity Maintain the freshness and appearance of live plants and floral arrangements through proper watering, pruning, and care techniques Assist customers by providing advice on floral choices, and plant care Manage stock levels by stocking shelves with fresh flowers, plants, and related merchandise while ensuring organized displays Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and retail math calculations Support merchandising efforts by setting up attractive displays that highlight seasonal themes and promote sales Maintain cleanliness and organization of the floral department to ensure a safe and inviting environment for customers and staff Qualifications Passionate about flowers and plants Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, and customer service Strong communication skills Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for stocking, merchandising, and maintaining displays Ability to work on your feet for extended periods while staying energetic and motivated Ability to lift 20 pounds
