The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design, horticulture, and customer service, with the ability to craft beautiful arrangements for various occasions. Responsibilities Design and create custom floral arrangements for events, retail sales, and special orders, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and aesthetic appeal Assist customers in selecting flowers and designing arrangements that meet their needs and preferences Maintain the freshness and quality of flowers by proper handling, storage, and rotation Manage inventory levels of floral supplies, including stock replenishment and merchandising displays Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and processing payments accurately Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, offering product recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction Support with gardening and landscape maintenance tasks as needed to enhance store presentation Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and effective merchandising strategies Qualifications Proven experience in floral design with a strong portfolio of arrangements demonstrating creativity and technical skill Knowledge of horticulture, gardening, lawn care, landscape maintenance, and merchandising principles Familiarity with retail sales processes including POS systems, cash handling, and retail math Multilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse customer base effectively Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers professionally and courteously Strong organizational skills to manage multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards Experience with e-commerce platforms related to floral or gift shop sales is desirable Join our team as an experienced Floral Designer where your artistry will flourish in a vibrant retail setting dedicated to creating memorable floral experiences.
