Job Description
Marlove Flowers s is looking for an experienced Florist to join our flower shop at the Hillsdale Shopping Center in San Mateo, CA. We are a boutique floral atelier business focused on fresh, thoughtfully designed arrangements and friendly, attentive customer service. We are looking for someone with 5-7 years of retail experience who enjoys working with customers, has a good eye for design, and is comfortable in a busy shop environment. Responsibilities
- Create fresh floral arrangements, bouquets, and custom orders
- Help customers choose flowers for gifts, homes, events, and special occasions
- Take in-store, phone, and online orders accurately
- Keep flowers fresh, organized, and well cared for throughout the day
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-presented shop
- Process payments and assist with daily retail operations
- Prepare orders for pickup and delivery
- Support holiday orders, seasonal displays, and special projects as needed Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in a retail environment required
- Floral design experience required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good sense of color, style, and presentation
- Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable multitasking in a busy retail setting
