We are seeking someone who considers themself a talented, experienced Floral Design Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for floral design, a strong work ethic, and the ability to lead and inspire a team. As a Floral Designer, you will be responsible for selling and designing beautiful floral arrangements that exceed our clients' expectations. This is a fast-paced, high-volume, and sometimes stressful environment, requiring the ability to sell and design floral events for a discerning, global clientele. This position is compensated hourly as well as a commission earned on event sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Sell, Design and create floral arrangements for various events, including weddings, corporate events, and private parties, Etc. Lead and mentor a team of floral designers and assistants. Ability to manage a calendar Ability to meet deadlines, on time, within a given budget. Ability to collaborate with clients, understand their vision, and bring it to life through exceptional customer service and extraordinary floral design execution. Manage inventory, order, process, and price bi-weekly floral orders. Sanitize and process floral cooler twice weekly as well as perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, organized work environment. Ensure all floral arrangements meet the high standards of A Secret Garden Floral Design & Events. Deliver floral arrangements to clients as required using company car. Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients. Handle high-pressure situations and demanding clients with professionalism and poise.

Requirements:

Minimum of one year of floral design experience. Valid driver's license is a must, you will be driving our company vehicle for deliveries. Strong design skills and knowledge of current and past floral design techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A pleasant demeanor, with a can do attitude. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to lift and carry heavy items, as required. Proven ability to sell to and manage discerning customers effectively. Time and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in event planning or coordination and floral event sales. Knowledge of the latest trends in floral design. Previous leadership or management experience. You must love working in the
