Floral Coordinator & Lead Designer (Growth Opportunity)

Part-Time (year round hours with wedding season May-Oct and "off season" Nov - Apr.) Grow With Us Gastler Farm is a growing wedding venue with an expanding in-house floral program. We're looking for someone who is excited to grow alongside our business and help develop our floral department from the inside. This role is intended for a floral designer with experience, who wants more responsibility over time. During your first season, you'll work directly alongside the owner and our small team, learning every aspect of our floral operation, wedding workflow, and our expectations for client experience. As our floral program continues to grow, you'll gradually take leadership of client communications, design & production, and department oversight. What You'll Do During wedding season (May - Oct): Design wedding florals and installations alongside the owner & team Assist with consultations, client communications, ordering, and production Learn Gastler Farm's floral systems and quality standards Help execute exceptional wedding experiences During the off-season (Nov - Apr): Conduct client consultation meetings on Zoom, and handle email communications Prepare floral presentations and contracts for the coming season Assist with administrative projects Organize inventory and improve floral systems Help prepare the floral department for the coming season and future growth Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Passionate about floral design and weddings Organized and dependable Eager to learn and grow into a leadership role Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a small business Positive, grounded, and team-oriented Excited to help build something over time rather than expecting it to already exist Qualifications 2+ years of floral design experience (wedding experience preferred) Strong attention to detail and organization Excellent communication skills Willingness to learn both creative and administrative aspects of the business Ability to work weekends during wedding season Growth Opportunity This is more than a floral design position. For the right person, this role is designed to evolve into leading Gastler Farm's floral department as the business grows. Increased responsibility, leadership opportunities, and performance-based compensation will grow alongside the department.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
