We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Floral Shop Assistant & Shop Associate to support our floral designer and assist with the daily operations of the flower shop. This is an assistant position, not a floral designer position. The primary responsibilities will include preparing and caring for flowers, assisting the floral designer with daily work, preparing orders, maintaining the cooler and shop, receiving deliveries, assisting customers, making deliveries, and helping with general shop tasks. Floral design experience is a plus but is not required. Employees without previous floral design experience will not be expected to create floral arrangements independently. Those with prior floral design experience may have opportunities to assist more extensively with floral design based on their experience and skill level. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with their hands, willing to learn, and happy to assist wherever needed. Duties Assist the floral designer with preparing flowers, supplies, daily orders, and events. Process fresh floral deliveries. Assist with floral arrangements as directed, including wrapping bouquets, packaging orders, and preparing finished arrangements for pickup or delivery. Employees without floral design experience will not be expected to independently create floral arrangements. Those with previous experience may assist with design based on their skill level. Maintain clean and organized work areas, coolers, buckets, tools, and supplies. Receive, unpack, inspect, and organize flower and supply deliveries, checking for quality and quantity. Make or assist with deliveries when needed. Answer phones, assist customers, and provide friendly and professional customer service. Keep the retail shop clean, organized, and presentable. Help with general shop cleaning, organization, and upkeep. Perform other general shop duties as needed.

Monday-Friday 9:00-4:30

Occasional Saturdays:

Required when needed, particularly during busy seasons and holidays.
