Pay:
$17.00 Hour This is an hourly position and we offer a comprehensive benefits package (specifics vary based on position and classification). Responsibilities will include floral design, ordering, tracking inventory, department maintenance and upkeep, meeting quarterly department sales, gross and labor goals. This individual will be responsible for executing all major holiday promotional programs to ensure department goals are met. In addition, candidate must be self-directed, teamwork oriented and able to work in other locations to support our floral department objectives. Individual must have previous floral experience, excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and proficiency in Word and Excel. Responsibilities will also include but not limited to: Floral design and merchandising in a floral shop within a shop environment, making sure all floral items are fresh, adequately always stocked and properly signed. Assess floral sales, drafts and submits orders, receives, and preps all plant and floral products, takes inventory and is responsible for managing shrink and floral supplies. Assist floral customers with special orders or requests by designing and fulfilling their orders within timeline. Actively supports the Store Director/ Produce-Floral Manager/Buyer in the fulfillment of his/her responsibilities in planning, organizing, directing, and controlling store and floral department activities and operations.
