Floral Designer - 21 Petals is a vibrant, growing full service floral shop located in the heart of Lafayette. We're seeking a talented and experienced Floral Designers to join our creative team and help us grow something beautiful—literally and figuratively. About the

Role:

This is a hands-on position for a professional floral designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to make an impact in a growing shop. We're looking for someone self-motivated, hardworking, and passionate about flowers and people.

What You'll Do:

Design custom floral arrangements for daily orders, events, and weddings. Collaborate with team members to fulfill same-day and pre-scheduled orders on time. Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal of the design studio and sales floor. Utilize (or be willing to learn) our POS and floral order systems for intake, processing, and invoicing. Support the team during busy seasons and holiday rushes. Contribute to building a welcoming and inclusive shop culture. Lead floral design classes.

What We're Looking For:

Professional floral design experience is a huge plus - but not required. A strong design portfolio and at least two references . Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and with attention to detail—especially under pressure. Kind, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to helping our shop thrive. Comfort with or willingness to learn multiple computer systems. Dependable work ethic and flexibility during peak times.

Schedule:

Typical hours are 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Additional hours may be required during holidays, wedding weekends, or major events Must be available to work every other
