Use floral design techniques to craft arrangements that are both aesthetically pleasing and structurally sound. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions, handle cash handling accurately, and process customer payments efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering gardening or plant care advice, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Support outdoor work activities such as lawn care and landscape maintenance when needed to enhance the overall appearance of the store environment. Keep detailed records of floral orders, inventory levels, and sales data using retail math principles to optimize stock levels. Collaborate with team members on merchandising strategies to showcase seasonal flowers and gardening products effectively. Skills Proven experience in floral design with a strong portfolio of arrangements. Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, gardening techniques, and landscape maintenance. Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, retail sales processes, and stock merchandising. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple orders while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers. Outdoor work experience related to lawn care or landscape upkeep is beneficial. Ability to identify various plants and flowers quickly and accurately to ensure quality standards. Customer service expertise with a friendly attitude and effective phone communication skills.
