This person is the on-site authority — the one our team looks to for guidance and the one guests turn to when something needs a decisive, gracious touch. You'll combine real floral knowledge with strong retail and guest service instincts, and you'll play a key role in coordinating with the restaurant on event florals, reservations, and special orders. What You'll Do Serve as the on-site leader, overseeing daily operations and setting the tone for the team Be the point of escalation for guest complaints and service issues, resolving them with professionalism and sound judgment Make final decisions on guest service matters, ensuring a consistently excellent experience Work closely with the restaurant team to coordinate floral orders for events, reservations, and special occasions Develop and refine processes and systems to keep the shoppe running smoothly and efficiently Lead floral training for staff, building their skills and confidence in design and product knowledge Direct, design, and construct premium arrangements, bouquets, custom requests, and event florals Maintain deep knowledge of floral products, arrangements, and care practices Oversee retail product knowledge across the team, ensuring staff can speak confidently about offerings Support hiring, training, and day-to-day management of shop associates and florists Monitor inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the shoppe well-stocked and visually appealing Uphold shop standards for cleanliness, presentation, and guest experience What We're Looking For Strong floral knowledge and hands-on design experience Retail experience strongly preferred Proven guest services experience, with the ability to handle escalations calmly and effectively Demonstrated leadership experience, ideally in a retail, hospitality, or floral setting Strong organizational skills and experience developing or improving operational processes Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally (especially with restaurant partners) Comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs Schedule Full-time, 40 hours per week Evening and weekend availability required Affiliated with
