Job Overview The Hidden Stem is looking for a talented and experienced Lead Floral Designer to join our new store! We are a boutique floral and event space focused on beautiful, thoughtful floral design and creating memorable experiences for our clients. We're looking for someone who is creative, dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about flowers and design. Responsibilities Design and create beautiful, unique floral arrangements for everyday orders, events, weddings, and workshops Lead and mentor other floral designers and assistants Maintain high standards for quality, creativity, presentation, and customer service Assist with flower ordering, inventory, processing, and proper flower care Collaborate on event installations, large-scale designs, and seasonal displays Work directly with clients on custom floral orders and event designs Help develop new floral products, designs, and seasonal collections Maintain an organized, clean, and inspiring floral workspace Assist with pricing, proposals, and event consultations when needed Stay current with floral design trends, techniques, and seasonal availability Qualifications 2+ years of professional floral design experience preferred Strong knowledge of floral mechanics, flower care, and design techniques Previous leadership or team-lead experience is a plus Excellent eye for color, texture, scale, and composition Creative, organized, and highly detail-oriented Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working on both everyday arrangements and larger event installations Reliable, professional, and able to work independently Passionate about flowers, design, and creating exceptional experiences for clients We're looking for someone who wants to do more than simply arrange flowers.
