Job Summary Central Market is seeking an experienced, creative, and customer-focused Part-Time Floral Associate to help maintain a beautiful and inviting floral department. This position is responsible for designing floral arrangements, caring for fresh flowers and plants, merchandising displays, and assisting customers with floral purchases. The ideal candidate has previous floral experience, an eye for design, and a passion for creating beautiful arrangements and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Design and create fresh floral arrangements, bouquets, and seasonal displays. Receive, process, and care for fresh flowers and plants to maintain quality and freshness. Maintain attractive, clean, and well-organized floral displays. Assist customers with floral selections, custom arrangements, and special requests. Restock merchandise, rotate inventory, and monitor product quality. Prepare floral displays for holidays, special occasions, and seasonal promotions. Maintain proper handling, sanitation, and safety procedures. Provide friendly, helpful customer service and support store operations as needed. Qualifications Previous floral design or floral department experience required. Demonstrated ability to create floral arrangements and bouquets. Strong eye for color, design, and presentation. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift floral supplies and merchandise. Position Details Part-time position Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Previous floral experience required.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 29.0 per week
