We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Floral Designer to join our team in a fast-paced retail flower shop environment. The ideal candidate is creative, efficient, and experienced in fulfilling daily floral orders while maintaining high design standards and excellent customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Design and create fresh floral arrangements for everyday occasions, sympathy, weddings, and events Process and fulfill orders from wire services including 1-800-Flowers , FTD , and other major floral networks Accurately interpret recipes and custom requests while maintaining design integrity Manage multiple orders simultaneously in a high-volume, deadline-driven setting Prepare, clean, and maintain flowers and greenery to ensure quality and longevity Assist with daily shop operations including receiving shipments, processing flowers, cleaning, and merchandising Qualifications Prior floral design experience required (retail flower shop experience preferred) Experience working with wire services such as 1-800-Flowers, FTD, and similar platforms Ability to design quickly without sacrificing quality Strong attention to detail and color balance Ability to work efficiently under pressure, especially during holidays and peak seasons Team player with a positive attitude Saturday and holiday shifts required What We're Looking For Creative eye with strong design fundamentals Self-motivated and dependable Organized and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Passion for flowers and customer satisfaction
