Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Floral Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating beautiful arrangements and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a key member of our floral team, you will be responsible for designing and creating floral displays, working closely with customers to ensure their needs are met, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.Responsibilities:
- Design and create a wide variety of floral arrangements and displays using fresh flowers and other materials
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of floral designs and trends to stay current and innovative
- Provide exceptional customer service by listening to customers' needs, offering personalized recommendations, and ensuring they are satisfied with their purchases
- Manage cash register and handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer interactions
- Assist with stocking and replenishing floral inventory as needed
- Deliver when needed
- Be apart of a team
- willing to do multiple jobs to create a better work enviroment
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Process flowers when they arrive & Daily cooler cleaning
- Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to enhance the overall shopping experience
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of floral design and a passion for creating beautiful arrangements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficiency with cash handling and retail sales
- Experience with stock management and organization
- Ability to accurately handle cash transactions
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects, and to stand for long periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required; floral design experience or education preferred
- Clean driving record
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
- Organizational skills to maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
