Negotiable & comenserate with experience We are seeking a passionate and creative Floral Designer to bring beauty and artistry to our floral department. In this vibrant role, you will craft stunning floral arrangements for various occasions, assist customers with their floral needs, and contribute to a welcoming shopping environment. Your expertise in floral design, combined with excellent customer service skills, will help create memorable experiences for our clients. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity while working in a dynamic retail setting. Duties Design and assemble fresh floral arrangements tailored to customer requests and special occasions, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and presentation Assist customers in selecting flowers, plants, and related products by providing expert advice and personalized recommendations Maintain the floral display area by stocking fresh flowers, arranging displays, and ensuring all products are visually appealing and well-organized Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems for transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and retail math accuracy Support merchandising efforts by creating attractive displays that highlight seasonal themes and promote sales Manage inventory levels of flowers, foliage, containers, and accessories through stock replenishment and organization Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering a positive shopping experience Experience Previous experience in floral design or horticulture is highly preferred; familiarity with floral arrangement techniques is essential Demonstrated proficiency with retail operations including cashiering, POS systems, retail math, merchandising, and stock management Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members in a fast-paced environment Organizational skills to manage inventory efficiently and maintain a clean, inviting workspace A passion for creativity combined with a strong understanding of horticulture principles will set you apart as a Floral Designer Join us to turn everyday moments into extraordinary memories through the art of floral design!
