Job Description

Join Our Team! We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Florist Assistant & Sales Counterperson to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced floral shop environment. Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist customers with retail floral and gift purchases.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and take floral orders accurately.
  • Process and review customer orders using the computer system.
  • Assist floral designers with flower processing, preparation, and daily production as needed.
  • Maintain inventory of floral supplies, merchandise, and shop materials.
  • Care for indoor and outdoor plants, including watering, maintenance, and creating attractive displays.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized shop, including:
  • Sweeping and mopping floors.
  • Keeping the front flower cooler clean and well-stocked.
  • Maintaining a welcoming retail environment.
  • Operate the cash register and Square POS system to process customer transactions. Schedule
Regular Hours:
Part time, 8 hour days a few days a week, desired days flexible. We are open 7 days a week.
    Additional Availability:
    Flexibility to work additional days and hours during holidays and peak floral seasons is required. Qualifications
    • Minimum 3 years of retail customer service experience.
    • Floral or florist shop experience is preferred but not required.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Comfortable using computers, cash registers, and POS systems (Square experience is a plus).
    • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment.
    • Must be able to lift 20 pounds or more.
    • Reliable transportation to and from work is required.
    • Positive attitude, dependable, and willing to work as part of a team.
