In this dynamic role, you will craft beautiful floral arrangements that inspire and delight customers, while providing outstanding customer support to ensure a memorable shopping experience. Whether designing stunning bouquets or assisting customers, you'll play a vital part in creating a welcoming environment that celebrates beauty and connection. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine artistic talent with retail expertise in a lively, fast-paced setting. Requirements A demonstrated aptitude for creating beautiful, high quality floral arrangements. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with the skill to prioritize and adapt to last minute requests. A positive, kind, and courteous attitude, even in stressful situations. Team-player mentality with excellent interpersonal skills, relating well with customers and co-workers. Ability to take direction and consistently follow through on shop processes. Exceptional attention to detail, including spelling/grammar on customer orders, and excellent problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn floral processes and computer/point of sale systems. Availability to work major floral holidays and consistent, dependable attendance. The physical ability to stand for extended periods of time and to move products up to 40 lbs. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation. Responsibilities Create exquisite floral arrangements by following store recipes as well as utilizing your own creativity to design custom arrangements. Work closely with customers to capture their vision and preferences, creating arrangements that best meet their needs in terms of look, feel, and pricing. Assist with event work including the creation of floral pieces for weddings, open houses, celebrations of life, etc. Keep design space as organized as possible, optimizing both creativity and productivity. Assist with other shop responsibilities including flower processing, cleaning, unloading/pricing/shelving shop products, watering plants, making deliveries as needed, and other duties as assigned.
