Job Description
Busy flower shop in Westlake. Looking for experienced floral designers ONLY. Looking for one designer with at least 2+ years designing. Looking for 1 full time and 1 part-time/holiday help for Mother's Day. The following skills we need in a designer are as followed Must have good customer service skills, and be friendly Must be willing to help and work with other designers Helping to prepare/process flowers Maintain refrigerated flowers Clean and organized coolers and store Knowledge of floral design and willingness to learn new techniques Being creative with your designs Must have organization skills Available to work on weekends and overtime especially on major florist holidays Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Christmas. Customer service skills and problem-solving ability Must be able to work and keep up with busy holiday work Able to set and breakdown weddings Learn out point of sales system (we will train you) Advising customers on the proper care and maintenance of their selected floral arrangements. Watering and caring for plants Please, note that the position requires long hours standing on your feet and lifting up to 25 lbs. Be prepared to work under pressure when we get very busy.
