Job Description
We are looking to hire a experienced and creative floral designer with a strong work ethic to design, create, and sell standard and customized floral arrangements. The floral designer's responsibilities include advising customers on suitable floral arrangement selections, designing and wrapping completed floral arrangements, unpacking, processing and organizing flowers, and ensuring that the floral shop is clean and well-organized. To be successful as a floral designer, you should keep aware of emerging styles and trends in floral design. Ultimately, an exceptional floral designer should be able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills and ensure that ordered floral arrangements are prepared and delivered to customers in a timely manner.
- Previous floral experience is preferred.
- In- store work duties include making floral arrangements of all types and for all occasions (vases, bouquets, corsages, sympathy, weddings, events, etc.), unpacking flowers and supplies, assisting customers with orders both in store and over the phone, filling water buckets, sweeping floors, decorating, and more.
- Candidates must be available to work flexible hours including some weekends.
