Floral Designer

Our West Knoxville Floral Shop is looking to hire an experienced Part-Time Floral Designer. Must be able to do bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and sympathy pieces. Previous experience with wedding florals is highly encouraged. Schedule is Wednesday to Saturday. Previous Floral Design Experience Required Job type: Part-time / Must be able to work weekends

Required :

Valid Drivers License with clean driving record

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES CREATE FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR WEDDINGS, FUNERALS, AND SPECIAL OCCASIONS



PROCESS FLOWER ORDERS CARE FOR LIVE PLANTS



ASSIST CUSTOMERS WITH PRODUCT SELECTION



ANSWER PHONES AND TAKE ORDERS



SETUP AND TAKE DOWN WEDDINGS AND EVENTS



PROVIDE EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE



DRIVE DELIVERY VAN AS NEEDED



KEEP A NEAT AND TIDY WORKSTATION



WORK COLLABORATIVELY WITH LFFD TEAM MEMBERS



WEEKLY COOLER/SHOP CLEANING POSITION QUALIFICATIONS



FLORAL DESIGN EXPERIENCE PREFERRED



ABILITY TO FREQUENTLY LIFT OVER 40LBS



ABILITY TO STAND FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME ABILITY TO CLIMB LADDERS



RETAIL/CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE PREFERRED



CLEAN DRIVING RECORD



MUST BE 21 YEARS OR OLDER



ABILITY TO MANAGE TIME AND MULTITASK



EXCEPTIONAL COMMUNICATION AND LISTENING SKILLS



POSITIVE ATTITUDE AND WILLINGNESS TO GO ABOVE AND BEYOND

MUST BE WILLING TO WORK SATURDAYS

•Availability to work late nights, weekends, occasional holidays, and maintain a positive outlook is a must. Attention to detail and previous design experience required!
