Job Description
About the Position We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and creative Part-Time Flower Shop Worker to join our team on weekends. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with flowers, has an eye for detail, and takes pride in creating beautiful arrangements and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to follow instructions, and willing to assist with a variety of flower shop and event-related tasks. Responsibilities Assist with creating and preparing floral arrangements and bouquets Process, clean, and care for fresh flowers and greenery Prepare flowers and supplies for weddings, events, deliveries, and orders Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming flower shop Assist customers with basic floral selections and orders Wrap and package floral arrangements for customers and deliveries Help load and unload flowers, supplies, and event décor as needed Assist with wedding and event floral preparation Maintain floral tools, work areas, coolers, and supplies Help receive and organize flower deliveries Follow instructions from the florist or manager Perform other general flower shop duties as needed Qualifications Previous floral or flower shop experience is preferred but not required Must be dependable and punctual Strong attention to detail Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Good customer service and communication skills Able to work efficiently in a busy environment Comfortable standing for extended periods Able to lift and carry floral buckets, boxes, and supplies Must be available to work weekends A positive attitude and willingness to learn Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Creative and enjoys working with flowers Reliable and responsible Organized and detail-oriented Friendly and professional with customers Comfortable taking direction and learning new skills Willing to help wherever needed Interested in gaining experience in floral design and weddings/events Compensation Will be based on experience and discussed during your interview.
