Floral Designer Monica's Brides & Touch of Glitz Flowers Channelview, TX Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $14 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Bilingual Retail customer service procedures Customer service Produce High school diploma or GED Attention to detail Floral arrangement design Organizational skills Retail sales Full Job Description We are looking for motivated individuals that are creative and have the ability to work in a fast-paced floral design environment. At Monica's Brides and Touch of Glitz Flowers 90% of our business comes from weddings and quinceañeras. We are looking to add Floral Designers to our team as we approach the busy wedding season.
Responsibilities include:
Creating floral arrangements including wedding centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnieres, funeral sprays, funeral plant/floral baskets, and everyday floral orders. Receiving, processing and storing flowers upon delivery. Cleaning and washing buckets. Assisting walk-in floral shop customers. Occasionally answering shop phone line to assist customers. Cleaning up shop to ensure it is presentable at all times. Conduct classes or demonstrations to train new staff on processes. Assist with delivery and setup of events. Any other tasks assigned.
Floral Designer Requirements:
High school diploma or GED. Proven floral design experience. Sound knowledge of different flower types, arrangement styles, and flower conditioning. Excellent organizational skills. Effective communication skills. Exceptional customer service skills. Artistic and creative. Detail-oriented. Bilingual is a Plus. Good attitudes and reliable transportation are a must. •Taking Floral design in High School

From $14.00 per hour
