•Dallas, TX We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Part-Time Floral Shop Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on, physical position that helps keep our flower shop clean, organized, stocked, and running smoothly.

Schedule:

Monday:

8:00 AM

•2:00

PM Tuesday:

9:00 AM

•2:00

PM Wednesday:

9:00 AM

•2:00 PM Approximately 16 hours per week

Pay:

$15

•17 per hour, depending on experience Responsibilities include: Processing and preparing fresh flowers Changing and cleaning multiple flower buckets filled with water Lifting and carrying boxes, buckets, plants, and supplies Taking out trash and breaking down boxes Sweeping and mopping the entire shop Cleaning and maintaining the bathroom and break room Putting away and organizing vases and supplies Watering and caring for plants Greening and preparing vases for floral arrangements Keeping work areas clean and organized Assisting floral designers with various tasks as needed

Requirements:

Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be comfortable with physical/manual labor and being on your feet for most of the shift Dependable and punctual Able to work efficiently and follow directions Willing to clean and perform a variety of shop-maintenance tasks Floral experience is helpful but not required—we are willing to train the right person This is a great position for someone who enjoys staying busy, working with their hands, and being part of a small team. We are looking for someone who is reliable and willing to jump in wherever help is needed.
