Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment along with 2 days of delivery driving. This position has a set weekly schedule, as follows: Monday's 9 a.m.
- 5p.m. (In Shop) Tuesday's 9a.m.
- 5p.m. (Driving) Friday's 9a.m.
- 2 p.m. (In Shop) Saturdays
- Hours vary (Driving) Responsibilities
- Assist customers with inquiries, purchases, and product information
- Handle cash transactions and operate Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Taking phone orders with accuracy and precision
- Maintain a clean and organized shop floor
- Support online sales and e-commerce activities
- Communicate effectively with customers to meet their needs
- Promote and sell products to drive retail sales
- Process incoming flowers
- Maintain a neat and organized work space
- Deliver floral arrangements according to procedure in Knapp Flower Shop van Qualifications
- Experience in cash handling and sales preferred
- Proficiency in retail math calculations
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and sell products
- Multilingual abilities are advantageous
- Driver's License
- Clean driving history Schedule Monday's 9 a.m.
