Balloon Kings Houston is looking for a creative, dependable, and friendly team member to help us bring celebrations and special events to life! This is a hands-on position that combines balloon decorating, customer service, order preparation, deliveries, and on-site event installations. Previous balloon experience is a plus, but we are also open to training someone who is artistic, enjoys creating things with their hands, and is excited to learn. The right person will be comfortable working with customers, following detailed designs, working independently and as part of a team, and helping wherever needed in a growing creative business. Responsibilities Create balloon bouquets, garlands, arches, columns, centerpieces, and other custom décor Prepare and organize orders for pickup, delivery, and installation Assist customers in person and by phone with colors, products, and design selections Process customer orders and payments accurately Deliver balloon orders throughout the Houston area Assist with on-site event setup, installation, and breakdown Inflate, size, tie, and assemble balloons according to design specifications Load and unload balloons, equipment, backdrops, frames, and installation materials Keep the store, work areas, supplies, and equipment clean and organized Follow reference photos and recreate designs with consistency and attention to detail Help manage inventory and restock supplies as needed Represent Balloon Kings Houston professionally at venues and customer locations What we're looking for Creative, artistic, and comfortable working with your hands Friendly, outgoing, and confident interacting with customers Dependable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented Able to follow directions while also solving problems independently Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple orders Willing to learn balloon-building and installation techniques Available for some early-morning, evening, and weekend deliveries or installations Able to stand for extended periods and safely lift and carry up to 40 pounds Comfortable using step stools or ladders during installations Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Customer service, retail, event-decorating, floral-design, or similar experience preferred Balloon-decorating experience is strongly preferred but not required Schedule Our regular store hours are 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Delivery and installation times vary depending on event schedules and may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
