Main r esponsibilities : Oversee daily operations of the Floral Department with a focus on customer service, creativity, and department readiness Create a welcoming, customer‑focused environment and assist with product selection, custom orders, events, and consultations Design, prepare, and merchandise floral arrangements, bouquets, gift items, and seasonal programs Execute division merchandising plans, seasonal sets, holiday programs, and promotional displays Maintain full, fresh, visually appealing floral cases, tables, and displays with accurate signage and pricing Monitor plant and flower health, hydration, freshness, and overall presentation standards Manage ordering, inventory levels, shrink, markdowns, and waste tracking Oversee proper receiving, conditioning, rotation, and cooler organization Build and manage schedules aligned with sales volume and labor targets Hire, train, coach, and develop floral associates while fostering a positive, collaborative team environment Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, handling, labeling, and company operational standards We are looking for candidates who possess the following: Soft skills: Strong customer‑service mindset with a creative and detail‑oriented approach Effective leadership, coaching, and communication skills Strong organization, time management, and prioritization abilities Ability to thrive during seasonal peaks and high‑volume events
