Floral Designer Position Overview We are seeking a talented and creative Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for floral artistry, an eye for detail, and the ability to design arrangements that reflect our boutiques style and exceed client expectations. This role involves working with fresh flowers, greenery, and other decorative materials to create stunning, high-quality arrangements for a variety of occasions. Key Responsibilities Design and create floral arrangements for daily orders, weddings, funerals, corporate events, and other special occasions. Provide exceptional customer service by listening to client needs and offering creative suggestions. Maintain knowledge of current floral trends, seasonal flowers, and color combinations. Knowledge of floral products, supplies, tools, and materials used in floral design and production. Work with staff who process flowers to ensure freshness and longevity. Keep workstations and storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety guidelines. Assist with merchandising displays and in-store décor to enhance the boutiques aesthetic. Collaborate with the team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Qualifications Proven experience as a floral designer or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of flowers, plants, and floral arrangement techniques. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards. Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach. Creativity, attention to detail, and strong color/design sense. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods. Preferred Skills Experience with floral design. Knowledge of floral wire services (FTD Network) is a plus.
