We specialize in beautifully curated floral arrangements for daily deliveries, weddings, corporate clients, and special events. We are a creative and growing company with a strong focus on floral design, quality, and customer service. About the Position We are looking for an experienced Florist to join our team in Alexandria, VA. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of hands-on floral design experience in a design-focused flower shop or floral studio. You should be confident creating arrangements independently, accurately replicating our existing designs, and contributing creative ideas for new floral products and designs. This is a hands-on position that requires strong floral design skills, attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Create high-quality floral arrangements for daily orders, birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, corporate clients, and special events Accurately replicate existing floral designs while maintaining consistency in style, size, color, and overall presentation Contribute creative ideas and assist with developing new floral designs and products Arrange flowers in vases, bouquets, centerpieces, and other containers Assist customers in selecting appropriate flowers and arrangements based on their needs, preferences, and occasions Process, condition, and properly care for fresh flowers Maintain inventory of flowers, plants, vases, and other floral supplies Organize and manage daily floral orders to ensure they are completed accurately and on time Prepare and package completed arrangements for delivery Help maintain the quality and freshness of floral inventory Keep workstations, coolers, storage areas, and the overall studio clean and organized Assist with weddings, events, and larger floral installations as needed Work closely with other florists and team members to ensure smooth daily operations Experience & Qualifications 2-3 years of professional hands-on floral design experience required , preferably with a design-focused flower shop or floral studio Strong knowledge of flowers, greenery, seasonal availability, flower care, and their use in floral designs Ability to independently create professional-quality bouquets, vase arrangements, and event florals Ability to accurately reproduce floral designs from photos or existing samples Strong sense of color, proportion, texture, and floral composition Creative ability to contribute to the development of new floral designs Strong communication and interpersonal skills Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders and priorities Ability to work efficiently and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment Basic knowledge of plants, gardening, and landscape materials used in floral arrangements is a plus Reliable, punctual, responsible, and team-oriented Schedule Full-time, on-site position Weekday availability required Weekend availability may be required Additional availability may be needed during weddings, events, and major floral holidays such as Valentine's Day and Mother's Day What We Offer Competitive pay Flexible scheduling Professional development assistance Opportunities for professional growth within the company Creative and collaborative work environment Opportunity to contribute to new floral designs and collections If you are passionate about floral design, have strong hands-on experience, and enjoy creating beautiful arrangements in a professional and creative environment, we would love to hear from you.
