- Responsible for day to day interaction with participants to support skill-building and experiential learning through individualized programming within indigo's curriculum and the individual's needs outlined within the ISP ■Follows HCBS guidelines regarding participant choice, dignity and rights.
- Administers assessments of client skills as directed by the ISP, or at request of Director or Assistant Director
- Responsible for daily service delivery of Individual Service Plans per the supervision of Program Director and/or Assistant Director
- Records data and anecdotal notes of client skills and goals; implements changes as necessary to help participants meet goals and seeks support from the Director as needed by e-mail, phone or scheduled meeting.
- Complies, as required, with the regulations of the Department of Health Professions, DBHDS, and DMAS.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of the policies and procedures applicable to his/her specific position Indigo Curriculum Shared Responsibilities across Instructors
- Adaptive Aquatic Swim
- maintain and expand current program to meet participant needs
- "Home-Ec"
- Provide regular weekly opportunities for grocery list making, shopping, baking, cleaning kitchen, etc.
- Use baking as an opportunity to support packaging skills by packaging baked goods for sale
- Community Garden
- Integrate "Farm to table" concepts for recipe development within cooking and baking as well as floral arranging
- Foster skill-building using start to finish skill analysis and individual supports
- One weekly photo per participant of hands-on involvement in garden skills ( watering, planting, harvesting , weeding or deadheading).
- Retail therapy
- Practice skills in the setting to teach marketable retail skills
- Present sandwich board daily with list of offerings
- include participants in this process
- Build community relations as possible to increase revenue
- Schedule 4 "market" days per year or quarterly to sell products
- Develop flyer and engage in promotion
- Weekly photo of participants working to make items
- Uploaded to gmail drive for social media
- 3 marketable items per month
- rotate through items to determine participants preferences and strengths:

- Seasonal / holiday
- Community Engagement
- Seek ongoing opportunities to expand our volunteer internship experiences aiming for 1 new site every quarter
