Responsibilities Design and assemble custom floral arrangements for events, holidays, and everyday occasions, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail Assist customers in selecting flowers, plants, and related products, providing expert advice on floral care and design options Maintain the floral display area by merchandising products attractively and restocking as needed to ensure an inviting shopping environment Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions, handle cash and card payments with precision, and manage retail math efficiently Identify various plants and flowers through plant identification skills to inform customers and ensure proper care instructions are provided Perform outdoor work related to gardening and landscape maintenance when required to support overall store presentation Support inventory management by stocking flowers, plants, tools, and accessories while keeping the workspace organized and clean Skills 2 years proven experience in floral design with a strong eye for aesthetics Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant identification and proper care techniques Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage positively over the phone or in person Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, retail sales processes, and merchandising strategies Organizational skills necessary for stocking supplies, managing inventory levels, and maintaining a tidy workspace Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and stock management Join our team as a Floral Designer where your creativity blossoms!
