Job Description An employer is looking for a Graphic Artist in the Huntsville, AL area. Creates line drawings and as needed illustrations for technical documents such as technical procedure manuals, user manuals, programming manuals, service manuals, operational specifications, and related technical publications to communicate clearly and effectively technical specifications and instructions to a wide range of audiences. Coordinates editorial illustrations and creative artwork for publications such as magazines, brochures, handbooks, and posters, translating facts and features of subject material into graphic terms that best convey intended meaning. Creates graphic presentations that communicate mood, emphasis, insight, viewpoint, and similar visual impressions. Works closely with internal company contacts to understand requirements and create cost efficient graphic designs through available mediums. May be responsible for photographic equipment maintenance and operation to include video and photo shoots of events and equipment operations.
