May produce documents and printed materials using desktop publishing software and equipment. May work for a publishing company or provide printed business or marketing material for business clients.

Job Description
- Design marketing and communication materials including brochures, flyers, posters, postcards, banners, and promotional materials.
- Create digital assets including website graphics, social media graphics, email graphics, and digital signage.
- Assist with advertising materials including print ads, digital advertising, billboards, and recruitment campaigns.
- Design materials that adhere to Arkansas Tech University brand standards and visual identity guidelines.
- Develop and update branded templates and design resources for the university community.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Support annual student recruitment, enrollment, retention, alumni engagement, and advancement campaigns.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Communications staff and campus stakeholders.
- Prepare print-ready files and digital assets for production and distribution.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications & Preferred Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop.
- Experience creating graphic design materials for print, digital communications, or marketing purposes through academic projects, internships, freelance work, student employment, or professional experience.
- Ability to design within established brand standards and visual identity guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Three or more years of professional graphic design experience.
- Experience working in higher education, nonprofit organizations, government agencies. Location, Environment, & Physical Demands

- Work is performed primarily in a professional office environment with regular use of computers, design software, and digital technology.
- Duties require extended periods of sitting, computer use, and visual concentration.
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds and attendance at university events may be required.
